Fried chicken
Ingredients Ingredients : – 6 chicken drumsticks, 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste, ½ teaspoon green chilly paste, ½ teaspoon red chilly powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, ½ teaspoon garam masala( hot spice mix), 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1 pinch turmeric, oil for deep frying, salt and pepper to taste.

Preparation time : – 20 minutes Serves : – 2HOW TO PREPARE : – Take the chicken pieces and make slits in them on all sides. Put the chicken in a big bowl and add the ginger garlic paste, green chilly paste, red chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric, salt, pepper and sprinkle a little water. Now mix it up well and let it marinate for 2 hours. Now take a frying pan and pour oil for deep frying. Fry three pieces at a time after the oil is nice and hot. Keep turning the chicken over so that all the sides get cooked evenly. When it’s nice and brown remove from the stove and pat dry the oil with some paper towels. Sprinkle the lemon juice and serve with some green chutney.

Navratan pulao
Ingredients: – 1 cup basmati rice, 25 grams paneer, 25 grams peas, 10 small cauliflower florets, 5 cherries, 25 grams pineapple, 25 grams carrot, 10 cashew nuts, 10 raisins, 1 small cup curd, ¼ teaspoon garam masala, 1 green chilly, 1 onion, ½ teaspoon red chilly powder, 1 pinch turmeric, ½ bunch mint leaves, ½ bunch cilantro, ½ lemon, 10 grams ginger garlic paste, 10 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter) and salt to taste.
Preparation time : – 30 minutes Serves : – 2
HOW TO PREPARE: – Wash the rice and soak in water for half an hour. Cut all the vegetable and pine apple into small little pieces. Take a frying pan and heat some oil. When its hot add the carrots and paneer and fry for a while. When the paneer starts to turn brown at the edges it’s done. Keep it aside. Take another frying pan and put the ghee and bring to heat. When the ghee begins boiling add the onions and fry till they are golden brown. Put in the ginger garlic paste, green chillies, mint leaves, paneer, vegetables and dry fruits. Sauté for five to six minutes. Then add the turmeric, chilly powder and garam masala. Sauté briefly and add the curd, salt. Stir well and cook for another minute. Turn of the flame and keep it aside. Take a pan and boil two cups of water and add the rice. Let it cook till the rice is half done. Now add the vegetable gravy to it and let it cook till the rice is completely cooked. Sprinkle the lemon juice and mix the rice once. Garnish with cherries and serve.

Banana chicken curry.
Ingredients: – 4 chicken pieces, 2 tablespoons flour, 4 teaspoons curry powder, 2 bananas, 1 cup rice, 2 lemon slices, oil for frying and salt to taste.
Preparation time : – 25 minutes Serves : – 2
HOW TO PREPARE: – Take a bowl and put the chicken pieces in it and add the curry powder, flour and salt. Mix it all up and coat the chicken with it. Take a frying pan and pour oil enough to fry and fry the chicken pieces until golden brown. Reduce the flame and cover and cook for 15 minutes or till the chicken is tender. Now add the banana slices and cook for another six minutes. Remove form flame and set it aside. Boil rice in salted water with a small piece of lemon for 15 minutes or till the rice is done. Spread the rice on a big platter and with the help of a fork separate all the grains. Then put the chicken pieces and banana pieces over it. Garnish with lemon slices and serve.
Badam chicken
Ingredients : – 500 grams chicken thighs, 6 cashew nuts, 6 badams( almonds), 1 tablespoon corn flour, 1 egg, ½ tablespoon pepper powder, ½ cup curd(yoghurt), half a lemon, oil for frying and salt to taste.Preparation time :- 15 minutes Serves : – 2
HOW TO PREPARE : – Take a bowl and add the curd, lemon juice, pepper powder and salt. Put the chicken pieces into this and mix well. Let it marinate for an hour at least. Next in another bowl beat the egg and corn flour well so that there aren’t any lumps. Now take a blender and put in the cashew nuts and almonds. Make a nice paste. Add this paste to the egg corn flour mix. Stir well and ensure that all the ingredients have blended well. Dip the chicken into this mixture and deep fry in hot oil. Remove from flame and serve hot.
